8-26-30.
Effect. Lfts serrile, oval, 10x4mm all about same
size or 2 lower ones somewhat larger. Distinctly botled
from short distance above base, perhaps distantly
botled near apex.
3-26-30 Doryenium pentaphyllum Deop Kutt 101
Thearator. Low shrub. Droje. Fl buds too young for much
study. St brownish & wiry with remains of the
appressed silky pubescence found on young
lfts & lvs. Lvs all serrile with minute atepules,
digitately 5-foliate. Lfts narrowly oblanceolate, 10x
2-mm, entire, tapered to ppe base. Internodes mostly
shorter than lvs, often much longer. Fls terminal
in groups of peduncled (peduncles not very short &
very silky pubescent) heads, each head evidently
subtended by 5-digitate if foliate thine or st. Calyx
tubular, very silky pubescent 5-toothed (which
1 tooth seems longer). Petals present (not sure)
number. Ovary has lobes of Leguminosae but
the 10 stamens seem free (perhaps not later)
