3-26-30 Viola arborescens L. Kn# 209, Bes# 3 /Bn 37
Fr v1 very faded fl. below gorge. The decumbent at
6-12 in. Woody v. almost naked below (no leaves
fallen), brown rather than "gray", red in upper part.
Lvs sometimes with very few, very low
teeth. Sepals narrow lanceolate, acuminate,
ciliate with gland at base i.e. somewhat triangular
flange standing at rt 1/3 to rest of sepal. Seed from
ovoid, attached to placenta a narrow substylous
point connected by line with opposite which as small
disk terminates. Capsule a little longer than sepals
(see 4-4-30; 11-6-30
3-26-30 Polygala repens Poir (See 2-24 & 3-26-30). Fl.
with above.
3-26-30 Euphorbia claracias L. (See 3-19-30) below
gorge. Fl v unique fl. Common. Capsule begins to show
the white spots not visible 3-19-30.

Bn 279 Fl. on rocks west side of below gorge bet.
entrance v fast. Spec collect branch once only but
much like ill Bsn v are naked at least to base of
branches. St. brown v woody, branchiased.
