Transcription
Lvs linear 1½in x 3/8 in, glaucous, mid nerve
prominent beneath, but retted veins showing
faintly (20X), entire the acute point finished to
gether looking as tho pointing downward. Lvs
more or less at right angles, nettles definitely reflex-
edo pointing upward. Invols lvs like st lvs
but broader. "Voles ellipticae" Umbels 1-5 rays
bifurcate usually with a central sterile fl
which seems always sterile. Bracts yellowish-
green, semi-circular, narrowed at base. blades
& yellowish more or less truncate v dentate
not semi-lunars. The very young frs smooth, no
sign of white spots, scales &c.
