Tree in garden Hotel Ferro-Carril Solles. Frs. Los opp. ovate 4 x 1½ in acuminate, narrowed slightly but rounded at base (hardly tapering)
or flexible twisting petioles 5¾ in long, ex-
atipulate, entire, coriaceous v lobes virgine,
glabrous, dark green shining above, lighter
beneath. Los (only old ones seen) show (20x)
darker green dots beneath covered by minute
gray scale as this lobe had been more or less
crumpy when younger. Frs in drooping
ample
terminal panicle, 6 in long. Fr a deuple
oval, ¼ in long, black, which details
living calyx (diddle like jarbapot) at.
stone wrinkled. Pos & Clionanthus or if
not pos. Lignastrum.
3-19-30 Euphorbia characias L. the #/60 Bee 4½
Box 279 Bon 4:5. Fls more going fr. Cborz. Formalityx. Besides
terminal umbel there are a few ray arranged rays
a short distance below. The brown gland almost
truncate outside, sometimes with slight hollow
but not semi-lunae. The capsules covered with
long white hairs but not "punteada de blanco".
Lower lvs. glabrescent 5 x 1 cm (not preparations of Bon)
middle & upper lvs. least widened at tips 5 x ½ cm.
