with with long greenish white silky hairs. (See 3-26-30

capillary, wiry woody st. much branched near base and some longer decumbent st. St. pubescent.
Levs opp. on short 1 mm, petiolis which form ledge a-round it at base. Levs broadly ovate 3-3½ mm x 2½-3mm,
extire
hirsute acute subcordate at base, green velvety globos
abov, the mid nerve only distinct, bright purple
beneath, a few hairs on mid nerv and 2-4 lateral
nerves visible, edges somewhat revolute. Denticles
except at tip 3-4 times as long as lf. hirs frim, becom-
ing coriaceous with age or falling readily. St. pub.
squarrial but without definite angles, hairs of
puberulence point downward. Harder when live
