Sep. 27 Monday Champaign.
A day was one large hole from
Springfield ill has me Chester here. The
Devonian limestone was entered in 28 feet,
had the block hole above in 100 feet thick.
Total depth tried 1500 feet.
Had lunch at the club with Darage
Bailey, Baggs, [illegible] Hunton and Tonn and The
Dead of the Science College.
Left for Chicago on the 6.10 P.M. via
the Illinois Central.
