Tucson, Jan 14 - 1924 Monday. Spent the morning at the Univ. of Arizona with Roworne, Dean Butler, and Stogams. To morn I am to look up rooms to live in. Over the State Redbird, Dr. Lausen and his assistant Wilson. Also over the petrolo- gist Guild, born in New Hampshire. And motuatin agrees. This one of the best lips of the morning. Spent the afternoon reading. To my surprise Dean Butler put up a dinner party for me at the club. He had President Murray, the Manager of the State Cliff Co, two of the U.S. Mines Dep who have a station here and Prof. Roworne. There were 11 of us to dinner.
