"The paper on the Belgian series of [illegible] showed that there are too many formations and that some join into one another going northward. He [illegible] drops out more and more. However a young man came and spoke of the [illegible] in the Belt. Not to the effect that a final correlation is not yet at hand. The Bemquet at Ramrokers Restaurant and was led by the Pocketed Hammer Club and was a great success. Kemps was toast-master, and an improved officiation was given to Professor Dr. H. Rice and curiously one to Wrey. Last year at Ann Arbor one gave [illegible] for a large cup. Woodring's paper had truly on the migration of Antillian mollusca into the Mediterranean. Held that there was a stral area across the Atlantic during all of Cenozoic time, and once to the close of the Pleistocene."
