Readingtn, Dec 29 1923. Saturday
Spent the morning at the National Museum picking out the starfish in the Spring collection that should be sent to Spencer in England. All the unidentified material should be sent to him and if this is not possible then those I listed which I gave to Mr Moody.
Then had to lunch Whittaker and Bell. The afternoon was devoted to a Council Meeting of the C.S.A. The ticket for next year is taken Pres, Scott of Princeton, Brock for First Vice Pres, Campbell for Second Vice Pres, and W.O. Grant and Mrs Bartram as Councillors. Next meeting at Ithaca.
I then moved to the home of the Reiths but had dinner with the Oerrills.
From Merrill I learned that [illegible] was the original man against me last year and that Bauslin was the active agent. Of course Hollick did the corresponding with them.
