X V 11326 Castanea ungeri, Hew D (1871) p.479 pl. 45(2) an amazing specimen which may actually be a fragaceous fruit. Consists of a 4 lobed nut 2 1° long turn divided into 2 2° lobes with an outer coat (perscap ?) to which 5 cm long spines are attached. V 11327 Cast. ungeri Pl 45(3) Serrate ly as moulded teeth, ven penn, crisp 3's closely pure & o on stilette. X V 11334 Quercus behari Hew II (1871) p.472 Pl. 44(10) Bowl portion of a pinnate or transitional imperfect actent suprasely palinecting lf, tree ante thus decurrent margin with shallow rounded serrations 2's fairly str thus barely ruptured at margin lowest pair of 2's stronger than those done but having the same course, junction so!
