Although label claims this is illust spec it cannot
be the one rep. on Pl 45(4b). If is an apical frag of
a penn Crasp if no pire. 3°2.
Spec ident in Pl 53 (s) as Corus first is not
a Corus but an undk basal frag. If an apparently
ctinotinous (pelin?) If pros belonging to
Platanus or Homometidal. 3° sin obsolete.
apical part of the specimen belongs to "Vit." cypanoides complex.

Large Basal frag of a large, penn round, app. Crasp.
If, with thin pire 3°2, l.o. sin. 4°2 can hardly
be seen in a few area thus app sub orth. in their
origins. No trace of a fimbrial sin exits other along
margp but this may be due to lack of preservation.
Marg with shallow gently rounded teeth, not as
illust except bottom at 3 teeth. But not an orb.

str. lam# pros curving outward, level 2 po bearing
outer branches to > 2's running to teeth (postably)
shortly, 3° sin thick + oppostely pire. If not a
Corpus Clorsts amen andqoe would be with to
Vit- antiquum & Vit Cypanoides. ? Why not just
Crylus. ?? Certainly not w/ V. cypanioides!
