G 766; Bu B III 398 FR Woods near south boundary. 4-8 in high, slender. Spec- imens insignificant & in comparison to 7-7-38 from H.H. Upper Garden. 7-19-38 ? Corydalis sempervirens Pers G 415: Capsoides - Borch BuB II 144 Fl v lbud on "Lookout Rock." Only small bit of spec. collected (only one seen hereabouts so far) & difficult to de- termine. The 1 bud terminal on short branch and may not be intending to develop. Corolla 5 mm over all, the apur alert, rounded and almost cov- ed by sepals. Sepals broadly deltoid-ovate, toothed around base, pointed at tip, with a small green protuberance at base of mid-vein. Capsules ?/4-1 in long, nodose-torulose (?) & spreading rather as ill (BuB) for C. aurea. Seed about 1.5 mm diam, flaks, alining, finely marked?, edge not sharp. No conspicuous & nets attending pedicels (As for C. flavula). WF & N.Y. Plate 802 thus pods like ours for C. sempervirens.
