7-15-38 Panicule not as ample as ill (BvB and Francisco) Nootles possibility 7-15-38 Brachyelytrum erectum Beau. G138; 190 B&F 1st hole. Of with Oryzopsis racemosa of 7-10-38 which it superficially resembles. (See ill Francis 108-9) 7-15-38 Panicum latifolium L. G117; BvB162 B&F. 1st hole. St. to 30 in hife largest of 2,8 cm wide. Fl. Spikelot 3,5+mm long. Striking looking. Idant seems sure. Loos ± ciliate all around but not conspic- uously so at base [See 7-25-38] 7-15-38 ? Carex atolonifera Michx G624; BvB1662 [See Keeler 205-2] Fr. 1st hole, at bank of bridge. St. red or reddish (but less bright voluing than a spec with nofs from Kilnwood 7-21-38). Fr's white to eye ? R.B.K. or slightly leadish (if she could stretch her imagination to call it "pale blue" this might be C. Amonum). Hair all appeared, some so, thos on buds & newest parts brown. For desc. of stone see note under ?C.Anonum. [See 7-27-38 7-15-38 ? Carex Anomum Mill G624; BvB1661 (See Keeler 248 Atflata Fl. but PSD not w/ or near stone at any rate near 1st hole. Very like above but at (even the few visible parts) dulled v greyish
