which is very like in || tufts of rusty wool at base of pinnae and in shaped veining of pin- nules, tho both pinnae v pinnales looks much less crowded than on from 8-7-5. Very probably #934 is from a young plant. Nothies. C.C. found on Kilnuwd to for. 7-15-35 Hypericum punctatum Lam G579; BvBII533 Nothrs p. 1st hole. 7-15-38 Viola pubescens Ait G585; BvBII559 F2. 1st hole in woods, where frequent. lf 9 cm broad. Seed 3+mm Capsule very. The solitary capsule terminal on bent peduncle 6.5cm. Could this be from apetalous fls... or short peduncle" (G). No clearest. No found at base of the one spec collected. 7-15-38 Poa triflora Gili G/57; BvBII256 seedll Francis 1984201 Old field across bridge at 1st hole. Panicle not as large still, but can be nothing else. Carefully sfd with P. trivialis l., 8-7-20-38 from woods side, and with undoubted Poa pratensis v P. compressa from 7-29-39. Infl. bin leige, not (now) drooping. Branches wide spreading. When col branches to wide- spreading also so that each spikelet stood out separately forming pleasing lace effect. Panicle
