Chenille Lady Fern which it sometimes greatly resembles.

Timber Trails, muddy along Lick Run. Achenes + tubercles about 1/5 mm. Achene lenticular; tubercle much flattened laterally.
Colueto-1/2 in high. Spike 6-7mm. Basal sheath reddish.

pars. This seems surely same as 7-5-37?]
