Fl. Frequent but scattered in woods. Petals spathulate
½ as long as stamens (not appearing to be trans-
formed stamens as in A. alba acc. to G.). Is however
more like it! (Bv B) q A. alba. Pedicels now white.
Other plants with fr. well formed observed in
woods [6-18-38 Fr. & A. rubra Woods no. of drive.
