Largest basal lf. collected 5" x 2 1/2 cm (Smallest 3.5 x 1.5cm. G. corted). Style crimson, angle to give q fls a pinkish cast. Shape of lvs like ill (Bv B) 5-30-38 Lizia aurea Koch G 616; Bv B II^, Fl: very early fs. 5-30-38 Medicago lupulina L. G 570; BvBI 357 Fl. Drive near rd. Fs just beginning to form but P.B. I feels sure ident. N.B. middle fl distinctly stalked (often As 4mm) contrary to ill. BvB. This is first time found in U.S.A. 5-30-38 Anthoxanthum odoratum L. G 131; BvBI 171 Fl. In woods near house. 5-30-38 Aquilegia canadensis L. G 405; Bv B II 92 Fl Seasonal not past.
