One spec only found. N.OBS. One fl open when collected.
leaves 3 in all. Fls 6. Anthers (withering) 1mm long, dull grayish-purple-ish-greenish. Consider
prob this being some spec of M. acotina; but no
gland-like parts "pit-like glands" found.)

fr with above (common). 1-2 in high, spine-like
lips & hrs conspicuously disarticulate (J) & terminal
one often strongly deflexed but not "sometimes
hooked" (M), Filaments unequal (3 longer) &
these inserted at point higher than the other 2.
(See M p 388 contra) at least in those fl. studied.
upper part of plant glandular & with "slummy-
oror" even without being crushed.
