Bet Crystal Pier v Loring St. Ident, queried: (1) Fl heads v inod bracts "gummy sweet scented"; the thick glabrous ls are not. Lower too often pinnately divided into distant linear segments but swing to thick fleshy chars. Also "filiform" seems inappropriate desc for these segment. Receptacle now flatter rounded but not "conical." Plants to 6 cm. with many fl heads. Acheneas prob pubescent [4-30-39 FL adv fe. Surely same as 4-4-39. Papppus often higher dark purple. Some heads have more than 5 bracts in involucre.
