H 3-9-39? Allium haematochiton Wats J217; M86 Bulb when col. (Opened in box) Norto Col. Near Ribes speciosum Fls as desc but almost white inside, suffused rose-purple with dark mid-rib conspicuous outside. Anthers purple. Crests vary purple forming 3-lobed spat. Scapes stout. 6 to 12 in high. Ivol withering when studied seen asdesc. (B) Along inland root. Bulb (not opened). Spatlesdly. red-purple v bulb as desc. Scapes 3-6 in and much more slender than A.[Lates.(B) surely A.h.- Crests rather sharp on upper edge v papillae (20x). Crests on A (if they are crests) rounded v most papillose (20 x).
