throughout'). Hence acc to T this would be var leucantha
Robinson. "to S Col" But see M for var leucantha "sepals
4-5mm long (ours has sepals fully 7mm v petals & mm)
& not given in M from g region. Dll. (M) of species good?

may well have been an escape. Looks like G grandiflora
of gardens varies with B.M.G.C.P. desc as to petioles rachines.
But [1] receptacle def. "briefly-fimbriolate" acc note BMGC 703
and [2] ray pipe def. tubulos, enlarging from base to tip
3-6-39? Baccharis viminea DC. J 1060; M 536 ? fl. One
shrub at edge of lot a block or two south of Amusement Center.
(Possibility) Pluchea sericea Cov. T 1072; M 537 considered
because fl-heads have purplish effect due to def.
