Wing begins about 1/3 distance above base, broadening gradually to a fairly constant width, then less gradually (but not abruptly narrowing & ended about .5 mm below pointed apex of glume. Edge of wing very sharp part? but finely serrated or perhaps denticulate. Panicle oblong to 4 cm long x 1/2-13 mm thick. Glumes white with
