Lund B.C. From the Landing and field a number of birds including 4 flickers, a Red breasted woodpecker, smalls wren Oregon jay etc. Marked 64 specimens July 22. Packing etc until the boat came at 3.15 in the morning. I arrived in Vancouver, about 4 o'clock and received a telegram telling me to go home Sound. July 23. Took The Str 'Burt' at 9. Am for Home Sound and arrived at. Gibbons landing about 5 o'clock in the afternoon. Put out some traps and shot a few birds July 24. Got a fair catch and shot some chipmunks and birds. In the afternoon fixed up my specimens and set dinner traps for shrews etc. July 25. Got a small catch, only Set Traps for Nestoma in an adversity. Torn on the hell back of the building. Also found a nest of Nestoma in a ledge of rocks on the point to the end of the Landing. and set a trap ther 19
