Neah Bay Wash May 10. Waited in Seattle. Dent out to Lake Washington and explored the woods a little. Saw many yellow marblers and flickers. but few other birds. May 11. Sent out to Queen Anne Hill, but did not see much of note Saw one Famias Stronsendi. Took the evening boat for Neah Bay May 12. Arrived at Neah Bay about 8 in the evening. Found Mr. Young located at the Post Office. May 13. Out and traps and shot a few birds. Looking at some of my traps in the evening. Struck with a stone (Soot bownbridgi?) May 14. Made quite a catch of mammate including Vireolatus Peruvicus and two species of Shrews. May 15. Got a few mammate and shot some birds. May 16. Did not get a good catch and shot nothing May 17. Rainy all the forenoon. Caught a Skunk about a mile west of the village on the bank near the sea. Caught Zapaus back of Village
