Longest stem ca 4 dm. long, branched in the
flowering portion, branches subtended by leaf-
like bracts; leaves cuneate at base with a very
short petiole 1-4 mm. long; lvs. leathery, oblong,
serrate-dentate, acute, glabrous, conspicuously
veined below and slate-colored; venation not
so evident above, invisible; lvs. 1-3 cm. apart
often with smaller lvs & branch-gra[ing points in
their axils; siligues crowded in dense
inflorescences 3-5 cm. long; pedicels
divariant, slightly arched, minutely pub. with
short simple trichomes as are the infl. branches;
(0.5-10mm.)
ped. ca. 1 cm. long; siligues stipitate, wing-
fruit complex at right angles to replum;
