Wheeled on campus near Ag. Hall.
Only Sparrows there (2) took refuge on top of bldy. out of range. Then went one near Bacon hall but failed to get a shot there. Then hunted back of museum of geol. & mining. Shot two birds there 8 4. Lost more in thick clump of Acacias. Birds still in small flocks. Two specie of nests found around bldgs.

Wheeled on campus 1/2 hrs (6:30-8 AM)
Saw two Eng. Sp. near Ag. Hall but could not get a shot. Then found small flocks around Philosophy Bldg.
Bacon Hall. Missed two shots with 32 aux. Then killed one with 1/2 loose 16 gauge. Lost three in thick brush around Civil Eng. Bldg.
