50 Superficial Crossed striae Coffin M. On the south side of Coffin Neck just north of the South line of T. 45, Y there occur some of crossing glacial striae. The striae occur on a coarse diabase dike which has been Roche- mountained into a low near flat ridge. The common-est striae are trend N. 42° W. These are crossed by a series of less frequent striae which Trend N. 55° W. while both are crossed by a rare series of striae trending N. 35½° W.
