We finally went to a chop suey restaurant
where she danced one step with us &
at chop suey. She is no more Chinese
in manners than I am. She is a table
maid in the St. Francis's Hotel. On the way
back we passed thru the Barbary coast, reached
the hotel at 2 P.M., at which time all resort
must close.
