Wednesday May 26. Golemda. Made arrangements with Mr. J.R. Bunch to go with me for an indefinite period with team for 4.5° p.m. and prgm. He cannot start for a couple of days. My outfit which was sent by mail has not arrived, as the delay is not serious. Thursday May 27. Golemda Spent the day in various preparations incidental to preparing for the trip. My mail packages arrived in the afternoon. Friday May 28. Golemda. Got provisions and other supplies for a month or so and practically completed preparation. Saturday May 29. To Paradise Valley. Left Barray about mid- forenoon and travelled northerly toward Wedermitt. The road ran through sagebrush flats with a broad range to the eastward. We went four 20 miles and camped at a ranch near Paradise Valley about 25 miles below the P.O.. Sunday May 30. To We got away at 6.45 and crossing the valley to the southeast to Willows Point, we joined the Stage station and went on
