Hunted hard for 3pm 7
Thomomys but found none
Ran on camp the trail
is full of a deerweed, of which
I collected a sample
Shot a weasel in the hole
new camp & a shot at it
but failed. Totals at Seta trap.
The valley is low and very
warm, and muddy. Upp
Pomona
Shot a kangaroo
Tuesday August 3
Fork a weasel and some
Peridipus. Fork up traps
finished up 25th. Shepher'd
a box of mammals all which
are dry.
Bright peromyscus & GW Cox
who is also postmature
Left in the afternoon and drove
back on the road we came
in about 5 miles and
camped within 10 at a
Spring, the only water for
many miles
Shot a gramin felon for camp
at Nomath contained the remains
of a meadowlark.
