To River Sunday July 17. Ent to Red Rivin about 4:20 in the morning and after a short stop went on. Obtained specimen of the first species of white chil, common at the fork and at 7th Methroon. Got some information as follows: Gray Sucker came the first week of June and leave about the 15th or 20th of June. The Locke came at the same time and does not winter and return at the end of November and remain till December. The Herring at 2nd or 3rd week in June reached to the Rampart Rapids some agent 3 weeks at Red River and are seldom nearly cell Rivin at Good Hope and return late in the fall. Incconn come 2nd week in June to begin of August on the river. They reach Red River. The end of October. They winter at the mouth of the Mackenzie and some taken at Herschel Rapids. They reach the Rampart Rapids only. The big white fish came from the mouth of the Mackenzie about the last week of June and remain until the begory of Sept. at Red River gradually working up and taking Good Hope Ramparts.
