Y King Fisher Baltimore Crow 2 Mourning Dove 2 Night Hawk 6 The country between Harris Choice and New Paris is very nilly and quite sharply covered with oaks and chestnuts with a very few pitch and whiteh pines. When within 3 5 4 miles of New Paris the reason for calling the elevation Chestnut Ridge becomes very apparent. The woods being composed almost wholly of these trees New Paris is in the valley between Chestnut Ridge and the main Ridge of The Alleghany regards to be about 7 miles ake. Two or three chipmunks will seen on the way over.
