118 Wed, Oct. 20 I war awak: early and had my tea on deck and caught a distant view of Prince Balm as mr came into the harbor of Jessel- ton. We anchored at about noon: finished up my packing and stayed on the boat for breakfast. Paid $58 for sixty cn. 400 cigarettes and my cwh and then mr put our things on the train and took them off at the Park House; The bthp. Lairn and I met The President on the street; they took the train to call on the Gov. Gen. but he was busy with his mail and could not see us: so many British. I spent the afternoon in getting settled, strolling around the town and doing some shopping, getting off some postals and changing the coins on my plants. I collected an acrospier and just before dark went out and collected some sedges. The Park House is a much comfortable place and we all very happy here
