Mar. Oct. 11. I was lazy about getting up and had breakfast alone. I did some rummaging around turns first, then came home and cleaned up some shells and did up some writing. Walked down to the Hospital and finally stayed for tiffin with Miss Riddle and Mr. Bush. Had some sports with two Hero kids who were stealing coconuts. Came back with the rides of going to San Ramon on the 3 o'clock but it left at 2.30. Went there and with a sister and at about five got up and had my bath and changed clothes. After dinner, all the others went to the "movies" as I wandered down to the wharf and then to the Army and Navy Club; met Dr. Baker, Major and Mrs. Parker and other army and corpsmen people; Mr. Bush stays for the drinks and visited until about 10.30.
