156 Fri Nov. 26 Was cold during the night and got an extra blanket. Was up at 3 and stirred up the coals pocketed up, had breakfast and was off for Tibay at seven. It seems good to have a wide smooth trail and more. I stopped all along to collect, some inter- esting Delaginella, some new ferns, one a Tranty and quite new to me and as I came to the next house at Tibay a new Lycopodium for me. The Rest House looked more attractive in the sun in comparison to my first impressions after dark and the freshness of my supper. It has been clear and bright, hot for the fifth time for weeks. Lunch, a bath in the river and then fishing with falcons took up most of my afternoon. It was waining for a time but finally cleared up.
