Mon June 23 (cont)
as 535-14062 was incubating under the
old dock.
Red-Tailed Tropicbird — Band number
565-12008 was found sitting near
565-12015. Evidently these birds are a
pair. They are incubating an egg under
a Nesserodinidia argentin on the south
side of the causeway just as we leave
the man-made portion of the island.
Brown Booby — Seven (7) young were
landed today, 3 in the islet + 4 on
the east slope of the island in the main
colony. Since the young wander about
it was unsafe to associate the
young with a nest number, instead
one of the adults were caught & the
band number read. Past data can then
be consulted to determine when the egg
was laid & hatched. Data as follows:
