July 28 p.1 Johnston Island — Red-Tailed Tropicbird — 17 nests were found on Johnston today, 3 of these nests had hatched young, 1 had large young (21 days plus), 8 small young (10-20 days old) + 5 eggs. For the first time one nest was found along the south side of the west pathway; had a small young (10-20 days of age). Data as follows: note: 2 nests were destroyed.
