Two new nests, #14 #15, on islet today.

Nests were also marked in the original
portion of the island, some being dug open
at the terminal, others were located under
heavy grass cover which can be checked without
much disturbance to the bird. Twenty nests
were marked, 12 do not as yet have eggs,
8 have eggs (one of which has the egg laying date
known). The nests which do not have eggs
will be checked daily for fresh eggs. All
nests will eventually be used for change
over study.
