Bulwer's Petrel — 6 birds landed tonight,
3 had eggs. Another bird, previously
landed was also found incubating on the
S. bank of the causeway, E. of the signal
tbuilding. This now makes the total
to 5 known nests sites with eggs.
4 other future nest sites are known also. One
pair was landed: 642-01135

Thur. June 25
Sand Is. — Rod-Tailed Tropicbird — Saw
one adult feeding the young in the bunker
at 4:10 P.M.
Wedge-tailed Shearwater — all records kept
on a separate chart now.
Fri. June 26
Sand Is. — Common Noddy Tern — Four
young, which hatched yesterday & today
were banded with blue color bands. These
chicks will be kept track of, weighed,
& measured periodically. The newly born
chicks will be color banded daily now.
