Yest-to-day got glimpses of a "rigors" mm mud or hedge by big tanks, but appeared larger brown. Oct 6 Caught a female, going? R-8. Flicker in study. Had come down chimney as shafts were sooty. Physical condition Good. Oct 10. Heard Saw Kingfisher 7:45 a.m. flying over my back yard. "Crowned" Sparrows arriving- everything gone but N. Fitchers. N. H. Pewees? W. Flycatcher.
