4/14 Noticed a roost of robins 6:30pm
in MacSharry's garden. Are not shot
at there. Saw a &s? hawk fly over
hen coops.
4/17 with Taylor @ 1stells. Lots
Gambrils & an occasional Song
Sharrow among briars along fen-
ces. C. N. Finches, Am. Goldf. 1 Noted
Lark. Got to Swamp rewoods
flushed a few pairs quail & saw
2 male Pilolated warblers &
plenty Tree Swallows. 1 Fairgrounds,
few Hummers, (Hawks, Red-
wings, Larks etc on edges) Colony
of 32 G. b. Niron's nests 1 tree.
Dors trees more, 1 or 2 bring
alders with 3 to 20 nests. Colony
of B-c-n. Nizons in low trees
in swamp. Saw 1 Am. avocet
near Mt. Edon in bred. plumage.
Lots duck preserves all over
full of signs. Plenty ducks yet
in R.R. Prestle Slough & a short
