Hit a guee far off, - a perpendicular shot & he rolled & kept swaying from side to side till over High St on to marshy lot to view. p.m. duck 1st 1 quail badly hit if he got away from cypress corner of meadow, 2d 3d shots varied robs. 4th & 5th missed 2 flickers fled from N.W. & W. acres of bowl alley a- cross orchard. All black powder 18#7 1/14 Got 8rv. birds incl. 1 quail on F.T. cypress road. Missed Guee asquawk near R.R. tracks. A few blue birds on bert carrot patch lo- custo. Saw a bewick's wren re- cently on wood pile. Townsend's sharrows plentiful-as customary in-winter. Cucubon's warblers not so thick. Kinglets about as usual. Robins scarcer. Seared
