1/21 Bro. Lewis & I got a boat &
pulled to point opposite end of ca-
nal opposite swimming place. Rained
since sunday last & stopped Sat.
night & no dux there. All out on
slough revile, good ones left the
country. Had a shot @ about
1500 sandpraps in 1 flock shed
14 brass shells #9 shot & both.
Shells missed fire. Ascrotanura
@ allwis that primers were good
& wrong size. (my own loading)
went back to boat got #7's 3/2 pound
1/8 shot bought @ A's & when I
got back 3 days' x 1 gun was
