1894 a have s.e. corner orchure. Shot at dux flying on canal back of watrside against a strong s.e. wind, & too far, as they favored posits shore. Lots of spoons, spig & puddirs lighting along point. Fried @ about 6 gulls & never got May have barn wind. 1/21 Bro. Lewis & I got a boat & pulled to point opposite end of ca- nal opposite swimming place. Rained since sunday last & stopped Sat. night & no dux there. All out on slough revile, good ones left the country. Had a shot @ about 1500 sandpraps in 1 flock shed 14 brass shells #9 shot & both. Shells missed fire. Ascrotanura @ allwis that primers were good & wrong size. (my own loading) went back to boat got #7's 3/2 pound 1/8 shot bought @ A's & when I got back 3 days' x 1 gun was
