at me. Its notes were a series of guttural warbles. Its notes greatly resembled the notes of an Oriole; other were like a Blackbird, some were like the scolding of a Wren and still others with its customary harsh scolding notes. During the Oriole noticed that its throat vibrated up and down but not during the other notes. I have heard this song be- fore and I think the bird usual, does it from a low sit- uation. Dec-12.
