It was placed on a 2x4 that was nailed under and parallel with the eaves, so closely that I could not get my finger into the nest (with but sliding the nest out to the end). It contained four eggs and I replaced it several inches nearer the corner. This did not seem to disturb the parent birds who was just noticed sitting up on the eggs today. Apr-29. Five inches nest on water closet contained five eggs today. Bird sitting. Accidentally destroyed two eggs in replacing it. May-3. Several times today I have seen Crow-like birds but (although they were flying high) I could not distinguish
