70. I saw three or four adult Larus occidentalis and one adult Larus heermanni in front of the ferry slip in San Francisco this evening. Flying. June 26, 1907. On the bay this evening I saw several adult Larus occidentalis and two adult Larus heermanni, one near the Alameda mole, the other near San Francisco. W W wind; moderate temperature as usual. June 27, 1907. Saw two or three each of adult Larus occi- dentalis and Larus heermanni this evening while crossing San Francisco Bay. June 30, 1907. At Baker's Beach, San Francisco, this morn- ing at low tide, 4 or 5 Larus occidentalis (adults) flew by. On the bay about noon, 3 or 4 adult Larus occidentalis and Larus heermanni were seen. July 3, 1907. For the last two nights several each of adult Larus occidentalis and Larus heermanni have been observed; the latter chiefly off Goat Island.
