three or four immature Larus argentatus during the past two days. JAN 30 1905 San Francisco, bal. to Alameda, bal. 5:15 P.M. to 5:35 P.M. Conditions: - Moderate temperature; overcast; light rain. Drove on the forward deck of the steamer. Larus canus or Larus brachyrhynchos was common off the wharves. Larus glaucescens was abundant after the steamer left. JAN 31 1905 Alameda, bal. to and from San Francisco, bal. Conditions: Same as yesterday. Larus glaucescens was abundant; a few Larus californicus seen. Ducks have been quite common along the mole and seawall during the past few days. FEB -1 1905 Alameda, bal. to and from San Francisco, bal. Conditions: - Moderate temperature; SE wind; rain. A few ducks along the mole in the morning. Drove inside the steamer. On the San Francisco side I saw a few Larus glaucescens and two Larus argentatus.
