Blangula blangula, Common outside. Three young males taken.
Oidemia deglandi. common outside.
Oidemia perspicillata. Very common, outside.
Eretnatura jamaicensis. A few. Some outside.
Ardea herodias. A few in marsh.
No shore birds seen; tide quite high and flooding.
Melospiza cinerea. Common.
Gothlypis trichas. Five or six.
Near home I saw the following species :-
Passer domesticus.
Pipilo fuscus. One.
Anthus pensilvanicus.
Euphagus cyanocephalus. About twelve.
There were two large flights of ducks towards the bay, one
at 7:00 A.M., the other at 10:15 A.M.

During the last three nights I have observed a few Ardea herodias
on the sand along the mole. Yesterday, at home a few Euphagus
Cyanocephalus passed over. Larus glaucescens is abundant in the
morning, and Larus californicus common in the evening.
