Octodromas minutella. Quite common. Delidna alpina. Squatarola squatarola. Common. Anthus pensilvanicus has become very common in the lot at the foot of the street. A hunter brought in one spatula Slypeata. Dec. 23, 1904. Alameda, Cal. (Outside of Bay Farm Island.) Time: - 6:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Conditions: - Stormy; SE wind; rain; rough sea. While in San Leandro Bay, I noted a good many large gulls coming from the SE. Brisma- tura jamaiensis was common in the deep slough, A few Clangula (Clangula ?) were here seen. The following birds were seen outside: - Rachmophorus occidentalis. One. Columbus auritus. Common. Davie lumme. Of the great numbers of loons that flew up from the south, those which passed close by were the above-mentioned species. Gulls. A few large gulls were seen.
