Dec.21, 1904. Alameda, Cal. (San Leandro Bay) Conditions: cool; overcast; light winds. The following birds were seen and some shot during the day:- Larus californicus. common philadelphia. A few. Sterna forsteri (?) . Anas boschas (?) 1. Dafila acuta (?) 1. Aythya vallinierea. Common. " affinis. 1. Blangula (clangula) A few. Erimatura javanicensis common. The general flight in the morning is bay-ward. There are two flights in the afternoon, both landward, one, a small one, about 3 o'clock; the other from about 5 o'clock to dark. Dec. 22, 1904.
